Sam Byrne took a shot. He sent the scary email. Didnât get the CEOâs job, but caught Nikeâs attention.
Belief Is Everything
Belief in what youâre doing.
Belief that what youâre doing will work / is working.
Belief that you can do X.
I see it with clients and there millions of stories out there where the underdog rises above. If you donât believe that the program will help, you simply donât see results.
I say this a lot - but I can give you all of the information I have and know on health, wellness, fitness, perimenopause, and parenting experienceâŚ..but if you have limiting beliefs holding you back, none of it will be of any use to you.
You have to believe in what youâre doing for it to help you.
And this is why I include some deep, inner work in my courses and coaching.

How To Let Go Of Limiting Beliefs
Most of us have at least some limiting beliefs. They are learned absorbed from our surroundings, usually as children. We hear things and take on the beliefs of those around us without even knowing it. And we carry those deeply rooted, subconscious thoughts with us into adulthood.
You may not even realize you have some of these limiting beliefs until you recognize a pattern repeating itself over and over in your life. Maybe they have to do with your career, money, relationships, or health. You may have some limiting beliefs in each of these areas - but the amazing thing is that they can be changed. And once you release those limiting beliefs and replace them with new, affirming beliefs, things will unfold for you.
Awareness is first. Identify sayings or limiting beliefs that you carry with you. They could just be in the back of your mind at all times. They might come up when you encounter a challenge. Write them down.
Rewrite the limiting beliefs with a positive spin. So instead of âmoney doesnât grow on trees,â you write âabundance is everywhere.â Reframe each limiting belief and pay attention to how you react with each one.
You may notice that when you try to rewrite them, you find yourself still shaking your head in disbelief of the positive version. If this happens, this is the most engrained limiting belief and you can focus on this one first.
Take the strongest limiting belief and think back in your life to where you heard that first. Then, imagine it going a different way. Imagine instead of the negative phrase, you heard the positive one over and over again as a child.
Practice. When you encounter a challenge, catch yourself as the limiting belief tries to take over and swap it with the new one.
As you get better at this, youâll begin to notice how much better it feels to sway on the positive side of things. And you may also notice more things go your way.
